Reopen a form

If an applicant or assessor, for example, needs to amend the contents of a form they have submitted, you can easily reopen the form for them. When the form is reopened the user will be able to amend the contents of the form and resubmit it to you. Note that an assessor or internal user can also reopen their own forms.

Reopening a form does not alter the original version of the form submitted. Instead a copy of the submitted form is made available and can be edited, not the original. This ensures that you have full audit trail of all the information you have received.

  1. Go to the relevant form tab on the application. E.g Application, Assessment, Acquittal or Administration tab.
  2. Click on options and then reopen button for the specific form you wish to reopen.
Optionally you can enter the date and time by which the applicant must resubmit the form, you can also choose whether to send an automatic notification email to the user telling them how to access their application to submit. Click Update to apply the extension

  1.  A copy of the form is now made and the due date, if any, is displayed next to the form.
  2. The applicant can now log in through your applicant site and complete the form by going to their My Submissions page. If the due date and time passes without them submitting the form, they will automatically be prevented from submitting the form.
  3. To view the original version of the form simply select it from the Version drop down menu on the relevant form.
