File Upload Restrictions

File Upload Restrictions allow administrators to restrict file extensions being uploaded into the SmartyGrants account. If files are restricted then these settings are enforced in Form File Uploads, Mailout attachments and Contact File Notes.

To apply a File Upload restriction:

Navigate to the Settings (cog wheel) icon.

From the Settings screen, under the General section, select File Upload Restrictions.

Click into the search field . . .

. . . and the list of available file extensions that can be restricted will be displayed.

You can also click into the search field and begin typing the file extension. SmartyGrants will display file extensions that match what is typed.

Click on the file extension you would like to restrict. Restricted file extensions will then be displayed in the search field.

You are able to add as many restricted/allowed file extensions as required. To add additional file extensions, follow the steps outlined above.

To remove a file extension from the restricted/allowed file extensions list, click on the X to the left of the file extension name.
